Applying Cultural Insights in International Schools - Workshops 1 & 2
Conference Workshop
For the past three academic years, the Council of International Schools has offered a pioneering new questionnaire model that helps educators understand how culture impacts learning. The information that it provides makes the communication and learning preferences of each individual student absolutely clear. In this session, we will share how this model can be used practically to improve teaching and learning. We will also share what we have learned so far from the responses of thousands of students worldwide.
In the second session and the last in this conference, we will be sharing some summary comments on the question of how we prepare young people to thrive in our increasingly cross-cultural world. A set of concrete strategies for you to use with all age groups will be offered that help us work in culturally intelligent ways in our diverse school communities.
